Real estate photographer in the Zillertal

A real estate photographer in the Zillertal is a photographer who photographs chalets, holiday apartments, hotels and homes for rental platforms, sale listings and websites — bright, straight interiors, an exterior in good light and the view from the balcony that guests actually book for. A standard shoot takes one and a half to three hours depending on size; the photographer clears clutter with you, works with a tripod and delivers corrected, listing-ready images within a few days.

In the Zillertal the altitude of the address changes how a property should be planned. The Tux valley alone, which runs about 15 km from Mayrhofen to the glacier lifts, climbs from Finkenberg at 840 metres through Vorderlanersbach and Lanersbach at about 1,300 metres, Juns at 1,360 metres and Madseit at 1,385 metres to Hintertux at 1,500 metres, according to the Zillertal tourism board. Higher houses keep snow on the roofs and lawns much longer, so the season for green summer exteriors starts later than on the valley floor; and wherever a house stands, the mountains cut off the sun well before the astronomical sunset, which in Mayrhofen is around 4.50 pm in mid-January and around 9.10 pm in late June. Interiors are usually shot at midday; exteriors are timed to the hour when the sun still reaches the façade, then lit windows at dusk.

Location ideas in Zillertal

  1. 01

    Chalets in Lanersbach and Hintertux

Snowy roofs and wood against white slopes make a strong winter listing image; a second summer shoot can follow later.

  2. 02

    Apartments in Mayrhofen

Balcony shots aimed at the Ahorn or Penken show what guests see each morning; a wide but straight lens keeps rooms honest.

  3. 03

    Farmhouses on the sunny slopes

Traditional houses higher up the valley sides get longer sun and give exteriors with the whole valley behind them.

Good to know

  • Tell the photographer the orientation of the main façade so the exterior can be scheduled for the hour the sun is on it.
  • For a December or January shoot, start interiors by 10 am — the usable daylight is barely eight hours.
  • Plan a summer shoot in the Tux valley for late June or July; above 1,300 metres meadows are green later than in Fügen or Zell.

Frequently asked questions

What does a real estate photographer in the Zillertal deliver?

A set of 20 to 40 edited images: every room, details, exterior, view and surroundings, in formats for booking platforms and print. A real estate photographer in the Zillertal can also add a twilight exterior or a short video tour.

Should we photograph our Zillertal chalet in summer or winter?

Ideally both, because many Zillertal properties rent in both seasons. If only one shoot is possible, choose the season of most bookings; a real estate photographer can return later for a second set of exteriors.

Can drone images be added to a property shoot in the Zillertal?

Yes, by a registered drone operator who checks the UAS zones for the address in the Dronespace map first. In the Zillertal aerial shots are useful to show the position of a chalet on the slope and the distance to the lifts.
