Real estate photographers in Austria
Listings are decided in the first few photos. A real estate photographer makes rooms look as bright and spacious as they feel in person: straight verticals, windows that are not blown out, a careful choice of angles and an honest picture of the space. That matters whether you are selling a Viennese Altbau apartment, letting a flat in Graz, or filling a chalet in Kitzbühel or a holiday apartment by a lake in Carinthia.
Hotels, guesthouses and restaurants have different needs: rooms and suites, the breakfast room, the spa, the view from the balcony and the exterior at dusk when the windows glow. Tell us what kind of property it is, where it is and what the photos are for, and we connect you with a photographer who works with interiors and architecture.

How to plan it
- 1
Prepare every room
Clear surfaces, remove personal items, cables and bins, make beds smoothly and switch on all lights. In holiday apartments, set the table or lay out towels as guests would find them.
- 2
Choose the time of day
Interiors are usually photographed in daylight. Exteriors look best when the façade is lit by the sun, or at twilight just after sunset, when inside lights balance the blue sky.
- 3
Think about the season
A chalet sells winter, a lake apartment sells summer. If you can, photograph exteriors in the season guests will book, or plan two short sessions across the year.

Frequently asked questions
Do you also do aerial or drone photos?
Some photographers are registered to fly drones. Drone flights in Austria are regulated, and whether flying is permitted at your property is checked when the shoot is planned.
How long does a shoot take for an apartment?
A typical apartment takes a few hours at most, depending on size and preparation. Larger properties such as hotels may need a full day or several visits for different light.
Can the photos be used on booking platforms and in print?
Yes, as long as it is covered by the agreed usage rights. Mention where you plan to publish — listing portals, booking platforms, your own website, brochures — so it is included in the quote.
