Event videographers in Austria
An event film has a different job from event photos. Photos document who was there; a video sells the next edition, keeps a keynote available for everyone who missed it, or gets a launch onto social media while people are still talking about it. Typical deliverables are an aftermovie of 1–3 minutes that captures the atmosphere, full recordings of talks and panels with clean sound from the venue’s mixing desk, short vertical clips for Instagram and LinkedIn — sometimes edited on site the same day — and, for hybrid formats, a livestream.
Vienna hosts a large share of international congresses, and companies across Austria hold conferences, summer parties, galas and festivals in venues from city palaces to alpine hotels. Tell us the date, venue, programme and which videos you need afterwards. We find videographers in our network who have the right setup — one camera for an aftermovie, several cameras and an audio connection for a conference — and you receive their details and a quote.

How to plan it
- 1
Define the videos before the cameras
An aftermovie needs a roaming camera; recording every talk needs fixed cameras and a sound feed; a livestream needs a stable internet line and someone to run it. List what you need so the crew can be sized correctly.
- 2
Talk to the venue about sound and power
Put the videographer in touch with the venue’s AV technician early. Taking audio straight from the mixing desk gives far better sound than an on-camera microphone in a large room.
- 3
Handle consent and speaker releases
Let guests know in the invitation and at the entrance that filming takes place, and get written consent from speakers if their talks will be published online.

Frequently asked questions
Can we get video clips on the day of the event?
Yes, many event videographers offer same-day edits — short clips cut on site, ready for social media while the event is still running or the next morning. Mention it in your request, as it usually means an extra editor or extra time.
Can the videographer also livestream our event?
Some can, either alone for a simple single-camera stream or with a technical team for multi-camera productions. A reliable wired internet connection at the venue is essential, so check this with the venue early.
Do we need one or two videographers?
One is enough for an aftermovie or a short event recap. If you want several talks recorded in full while also capturing atmosphere, or parallel sessions in different rooms, plan for a second camera operator.
